Cali May was blessed on September 29th, 2013. John blessed her in Sacrament meeting in the Glenville ward building. The men part of the circle were John VanDerwerken, Richard Quiggle, Michael VanDerwerken, Jay VanDerwerken, Paul VanDerwerken, Alan Stevenson, John Nielsen, Tyson VanDerwerken and James Wilding. Aunt Debbie wrote down Cali's blessing for us. She was blessed with :
Strength to be able to carry the duties of the world,
Blessed to be beautiful and favored of the Lord,
Have the desire to be a mother with no confusion of her role in this world,
Desire to seek an education and to go to a Temple of God to be sealed for Time and Eternity,
Have patience in a troubled world in a time of turbulence,
Remember that God loves you.
We had a lunch at our house after church. Jonathon fell asleep with Cali and it was so sweet.
We took a quick family picture in the front yard to document the day.
We love our sweet baby girl and look forward to seeing her grow and become the beautiful woman that she will be some day. My heart bursts with love for her and I can't believe I have been blessed to have such wonderful spirits for daughters.
