C is for Cookie!

I'm the guilty one who introduced Abby to cookies! She absolutely loves them as well as any other dessert. I think Abby will fit in just perfectly with the Quiggle women.

A cup can entertain Abby for a loooooong time. Put some ice cubes in there and she is good to go! She puts them in her mouth then spits them back into the cup. If you leave a cup on the coffee table you can pretty much guarantee that she will drink/wear whatever was in there.

John's mom got us this cute little Yankee pajama. It's too big for Abby but John doesn't care. He also gelled and spiked her hair for the first time. She looks like a boy so we haven't spiked her hair again! Our little angel is growing up so fast!

These Boots Were Made for Walkin'

On Monday, Abby took her first real steps! She was standing by the couch playing with John when she turned, let go of the couch, and walked right to me. It was absolutely perfect! No wobbling with 7 whole steps right into my arms! Now she will stand up and walk a little but always go back down to crawl around.

Also, she can wave! She waved bye-bye to John when he left to go to football tonight. It was absolutely adorable. Tina, a friend of ours who watches Abby while I work, said Abby waved bye to John this morning also when he dropped her off. I can't believe how fast she is growing!

Abby is obsessed with the phone. If I am on the phone, she insists upon holding the phone or at least listening to it on speakerphone. It drives me nuts especially when she starts jabbering away because I can't hear anything! But she is our little princess so we think she is just too cute doing anything she does.

A Day in the Life of Abby

Abby learned how to open all the cupboards. I was making dinner and she was by my feet playing. The next time I looked down she was gone. She had opened the door and crawled inside to play with the pots and pans!

DVD's are so much fun!

Nothing is safe!

Abby LOVES bananas but only if she can hold and eat them herself. She can even peel her own banana once I get it started!

We thought we had Abby proofed the pantry but obviously not! Oatmeal is everywhere!

While I get ready for work in the morning, Abby entertains herself by pulling everything out of the bathroom cupboards!

Here is a little video of Abby singing and dancing to my phone. It provides so much entertainment!

2009 Christmas in Review

John, Abby and I went to San Diego for Christmas. We were so excited because it was Abby's first Christmas but unfortunately we "lost" our camera after the first day. So all these pictures are from other peoples cameras. Luckily our camera was found Christmas morning in one of the presents! We're thinking one of the little ones walked off with it and dropped it in a bag. So on our trip we went to the beach, went to In-N-Out (of course), ate yummy mexican food, played with family, the boys went golfing, and just had lots of fun!! Here are some pictures from all our fun!

We loved playing together at the beach. Abby just loved the water and would have dove right in if we let her!

The kids played on the grass while the sisters got to talk!

The Nativity Scene... Abby is a lamb/bear.

Dad made a transformer out of presents for all the men and children. Abby got some walkie talkies and John got a toy Truck!

Abby loved her Alligator Piano Santa brought her!

We are opening our Stockings. Of course Abby was more interested in getting away to play than opening her presents.

My parents made each of us our own family trees. They are wonderful and we can't wait to show them off!!
