The Daily Doings of Abigail

Here are a few pictures showing the fun things that Abby has been doing lately.
Of course Abby has to try my helmet on. She absolutely loved it!

She loves to rock on her horse and sing.
She has to ride in her car everyday. Sometimes she just wants to push it around or off the porch and say "Uh oh".

Abby LOVES the rain. I couldn't pull her away from it. She walks back and forth next to the garage while all the water from the roof drips down on her. She thinks it's hilarious.

Abby loves shoes too. By the end of the day, my shoes (or Johns) are strewn about the house.

Abby loves to take pictures! Here is a picture she took of herself.

We are busy, busy all day long! Coloring is still a favorite activity. Today she entertained herself with the crayons for over 30 minutes. We sing and dance to my iPod or the radio while making dinner. And dancing consists of prancing around or jumping around the house. We have too much fun!

Christy and Kellie's Labor Day Triathlon

My friend Kellie and I wanted to do a triathlon on Labor Day but didn't want to pay the $150 to participate. So we decided to make our own!! We swam 800 meters in the Avery Ranch Pool, biked 14 miles along Avery Ranch Road and ran a 5k ending at my house! Here we are before the race! Madi, Kellie, me, Karigan, Kit, Branson, Glenn, Zach and Jeremy our timer.

Here we are at the end exhausted! Some friends joined us: Mary Ann swam, her husband biked and they ran together (34 weeks pregnant)!

Here is a great picture of me leaping right before I finished!

Unfortunately it rained the night before so the ground was slick. I turned too sharp and scratched my leg up!

Abby wanted to join the fun so her and Brianne had their own race down the sidewalk!

After everyone finished we had cinnamon rolls, watermelon and farmers stratta. It was all soooooo good that we decided to have another race! John will be doing one tomorrow morning! Look for pictures of him later! Thank you to everyone who participated! It will become an annual event!
