Catching Up!!

This post is called Catching Up for many reasons! First I haven't updated on what Abby is up to these days but also because I have to keep catching up to her!! She is such a fast crawler that if I leave her alone for even 1 minute she will get into trouble. See below for proof:


Yes, she has realized that toilet paper is such much fun! We try to keep the doors closed but sometimes we forget. You can't see but her shirt says "Daddy's Little Princess". When she is naughty she just gives us the sweetest smile and laughs. What can you do? As you can also see from the picture I have been in the process of painting for a few months now. The problem is I never go and buy the paint we need so this project is on hold. Abby loves to pull the blue tape off too. We have little sections missing everywhere.

Abby has 4 teeth now, her two top and bottom. The last one came in when we were in New York and she was sweet as can be so we had no idea! She is completely on formula and absolutely loves her bottle. When she sees it she laughs and waves her arms up and down.

At her 9 month check up last Thursday, she weighed 16 1/2 lbs. Yea!!!! She is slowly gaining weight but she's staying in the 10th percentile.

Abby has a few new tricks. She claps on command (she's been clapping for a little while now) and loves to do it!! She has just started waving too. That one is more sporadic but she gets so into it! Abby loves music so whenever music comes on the TV she watches and bounces while smiling or laughing. It is adorable!

Whenever Daddy leaves the house she crawls after him and cries. Sometimes I am on the floor playing with her but she doesn't care. Don't get me wrong, she's still a Mama's girl but now she cries when John leaves too.

She can stand and walk around holding onto anything. She even tries to climb up anything and everything. When I am holding her she tries to climb up higher on me, she tries to climb up the couch, onto the coffee table, etc.

A friend of ours gave us one of those toys that helps babies walk and Abby loves it. She will hold on and walk with these staggering little footsteps. She will also go along behind it on her knees, which she is pretty fast at. Sometimes she will just sit there and roll it over her and laugh. What a silly girl!

Abby loves to play with her Jumparoo. She hates to be in it, but loves hold on and wobble or walk around and play with the stuff on the outside. Here is a little video and sorry about the noise in the background. The TV is our comfort noise.




The last thing Abby loves to do is laugh. She loves to play with Mommy and Daddy because we roll around laughing and tickling each other. She is such a social baby and is happy playing with anyone! She has the sweetest belly laugh and will start laughing before you even touch her. We have been so blessed to have this little angel in our lives!
